Problem: I want Pie à la Mode now dammit!
Existing Solution: Go to a nice restaurant, and pay $8 for a slice of pie and a scoop of ice cream, or buy a pie and tub of ice cream. Both of these solutions cost too much, and are inconvenient.
My Proposal: It's all in the package design. One container with two compartments. One contains a slice of pie, the other a slice of ice cream. The two halves are perforated and are able to be separated. The pie half goes in the microwave, and the ice cream half is set aside. Once the piping hot slice of pie is removed from the microwave the ice cream is placed on top. Let the yummy begin.
Protection: None really, you could patent the package design, but this would not allow you to stop competitors who came up with a different design.
Why It's Being Discarded: I don't own an pie or ice cream factory, and them that do are in a better position to take advantage of the concept.
Notes: Please someone, come up with this and put them in convenience stores everywhere. I want Pie à la Mode now dammit!
