PROBLEM:
People in general need to exercise more.  Motivation is a key factor.  There are plenty of products to exercise with, there are videos and classes and trainers to motivate you once you've started exercising, but what is there to get you to leave the couch and start to work out?

MY SOLUTION:
The Sedimentometer is the opposite of the pedometer.  Instead of tracking the steps you take, it tracks how long during your day you are not moving, and beeps and certain intervals to remind you to take a break and move around.

TECHNOLOGY:  Pretty simple, cheap to produce in China.

PATENTABLE:  Yes

MARKET:  Fair, but not huge.

FINAL THOUGHTS:  Best to license this idea to a company that makes fitness equipment.

PROBLEM:
It's hot.... very hot.  Dog days of summer and you're running on fumes, both the vehicle and the body.  You pull into the corner gas station and start pumping.  Sweat rolling down your forehead, your stomach rumbling, you look to the store.  Pay at the pump made gas a snap, you didn't have to hassle with going inside.  What to do?

MY SOLUTION:
Build a vending machine into the gas pump.  Cold drinks, chips, gum, hot drinks in winter.  Add the charge onto the gas purchase.  Some pumps are already asking if you want to add a car wash, but you'd sell a lot more snacks and drinks.
